With the promise of warmer weather, brighter days and new life blossoming all around, we simply love this time of year as we start to welcome in spring. Particularly after all this cold weather and snow, we think we could all do with thawing out with some spring-inspired crochet!

This time of year means spring cleaning, so with that in mind our collection is inspired by quick makes that can use up your yarn stash, keep an eye out for ideal projects for this throughout this issue. Sachiyo Ishii's adorable Easter Kids are fantastic for small amounts of yarn (and make a healthy alternative to chocolate) and Alison Holloway's face cloths use a fun avocado design to create an environmentally conscious project, reuse and recycle!

Spring cleaning doesn't have to be a chore either, it can be so much fun when you use it as an excuse to explore the possibilities of your yarn stash! Crochet Now designer Zo Potrac shares her comprehensive guide to using your stash in projects, including hints on using colour theory, which you can implement right away with Thomas Eugene's blanket.
