We’re dreaming of (slightly) warmer weather with these pretty little wrist warmers, designed by Zoe Potrac! Originally featured in our sister magazine, Your Crochet & Knitting, we’ve given them a little re-design so you can make them using your Garden Bird Buddies yarn kit if toy-making isn’t your thing.

This kit comes with issue 37 of Crochet Now, which is available to buy from your local supermarket from Thursday 17th January – inside you will find the pattern to crochet a cute pair of birds, but if you fancy something different, download the pattern to make these wrist warmers instead. They are great for wearing in the garden while you join in the Big Garden Birdwatch, or even to keep the chill away at home.

If you want to make these wrist warmers using your stash, just grab your favourite colours in any 4-ply yarn you have and get hooking!
