Show off how much you love Christmas and crochet with these charming granny stripe decorations! Made using King Cole Smooth, they combine traditional crochet technique with a vintage Christmas colour scheme. These little trees will look fantastic decorating your crochet-filled Christmas.
I designed these decorations in 2017 for an event with our friends at Abakahn, and they were amazingly popular, so I knew readers of Crochet Now would love them too! First featured in issue 33, there is still time to get out your hooks, hunt through your stash and make a bundle of these before Santa pays a visit on the 25th! It might be nice too to decorate Christmas present with something a little more personal than a paper label.
Mix and match your colours to suit your Christmas theme – I think these would look just fabulous in red, green and silver too! What do you think?
Happy crocheting!
Decorations, hi im a little confused with the christmas tree pattern, are we working in the round?
Thanks
Sam (still working on pattern reading)
Hi Sam
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you – yes this patter is worked in the round, but when finished you will flatten the piece to make a flat triangle shape I hope this helps!

Hi, I do not live in the UK, I am in Peru, a little further.
But I wanted to know how I can subscribe (price and payment option) to be able to access the material online.
What I see is very cute
Thank you
