Say hello to… Deramores

We’ve been chatting to the team at Deramores to give you a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes

Since 2010, Deramores has been making a name for itself as one of the UK’s leading online knitting and crochet retailers. Stocking an extensive range of yarn, patterns, and accessories, a lot of work goes on behind the scenes. Deramores have recently welcomed several new additions to their team, to help deliver exceptional customer service. So we’re saying hello to Greg, Jade and Emelia.

Greg Compton – Buying and Merchandising Assistant


Greg, a former product manager for a fashion retailer has always found Deramores interesting due to the variability of yarn. Greg’s role varies from creating colour packs to checking stock levels and purchasing new stock.

Greg says:

I am enjoying working in a small team at Deramores as I am getting lots of support in my new job role and am enjoying the range of tasks that are include in my role.

Jade Skeels – Customer Service and Marketing Assistant


Jade has a wealth of experience in customer service having previously spent seven years at Ikea. She brings great knowledge  about a range of elements such as web chats, calls and emails and is helping support the team in assisting customers efficiently and improving upon the existing customer service process.

Jade says:

Since joining Deramores I’ve enjoyed working with a new team, learning something new about wool every day and helping support the team in progressing their current customer service.

Emelia Drew – Marketing and Customer Service Assistant 


Emilia undertakes a broad range of duties in her role as marketing and customer service assistant. Her duties include everything from creating social media posts through to assisting customers with enquiries via live chats. She is soon to begin her Level 3 apprenticeship in social and digital marketing.

Emelia says:

It’s great to have an opportunity to experience a wide range of different tasks throughout my working day. I thoroughly enjoy being able to experience an element of creativity within my role and look forward to further developing my skills across my role.

  1. Good morning. I live in Australia and love your magazine. But I see here that in this month’s issue you Have a Mr men crochet pattern. When I bought my issue I had crochet hooks in mine. I have heaps of crochet hooks and would have preferred the Mr men pattern. Is it because it is shipped to Australia. Would love your feedback thank you Linda England.

    • Hi Linda, unfortunately due to licensing restrictions we can only distribute Mr Men patterns within the UK and this is why an alternative gift was provided on export copies. We’re sorry for any disappointment this may have caused.
