Friday Five: Shark Bait

The week’s coming to a close, the sun is shining and we’re off to the beach. Be careful  though, you never know what’s lurking in the water…

Shark Week 2018 is just days away, so we’ve put together a list of our favourite shark inspired crochet projects.

  1. We adore this killer cushion from Spin a Yarn Crochet. The free pattern is made using  Bernat Blanket yarn and is so soft that it’ll be the only shark’s mouth you’ll want to rest your head on.

2. These shark socks by Marta Selter are so much fin… I mean fun. Perfect for keeping your feet you warm and lounging around the house, you’ll make everyone jealous.

3. Your little ones will want to dive right into stuffing this pajama eater from MB Stitches. This friendly shark is perfect for keeping bedrooms tidy!

4. Granny squares are a crochet classic and this shark design from Maria’s Blue Crayon is perfect for celebrating our fishy friends. We think this would be perfect for a quirky blanket idea!

5. Who needs mermaid blankets when you can have sharks? If you’ve not picked up a copy of Crochet Now 30, you’re missing out on this jaws-dropping pattern from the DROPS Design Team!

Crochet Now issue 30 is out now! Find your local stockist here, or buy online at MoreMags
