With B, make a chain to the rough length you'd like your ribbon to be.

Row 1: Starting in 2nd ch from hook, dc across. Fasten off B and join C in the first st made on Row 1.

Row 2: 1 ch, dc across. Fasten off C.

Making up:

Using the long tail from medal side 1, start sewing the two pieces together starting at the bottom using an overstitch, ensuring the right side is facing out on both sides. When you get to just about above each eye, poke the ribbon end in, ensuring the right side is facing out and sew through. Continue along to space above second eye and insert in second end of ribbon, ensuring the ribbon is not twisted.

Continue sewing around until two thirds is complete, then insert the second cardboard disk at the back of the medal. Continue sewing to end, then weave in your ends.
