The Enigma CAL is an original design by Esther, exclusively for Crochet Now and we are so excited to have worked with Esther on this breathtaking design!

Esther first designed the softer, more pastel-toned version (shown below) using 29 balls (50g) of  Scheepjes Stone Washed, a very popular sport-weight cotton and acrylic blend yarn with a tough name a super-soft, woolly feel, to create a sumptuous, soft blanket. Esther has a great eye for how colour and design play together in this intricate design that’s great for all levels of crocheter!

The second version (shown at the top of this post) was designed using 16 balls of Scheepjes Colour Crafter, the popular all-round 100% acrylic yarn that is absolutely perfect for crochet blankets. We adore the way Esther brighter colour choices sit strongly in this design, while still maintaining the wonderful play of colour and texture!
