As I write this, we've just entered our third lockdown here in the UK. Who would have expected these situations this time last year? I'm sure like many, I've become an unofficial expert in finding the silver lining in situations like this now, so although we're staying inside, at least we have a new issue of Crochet Now to settle down with for some 'us' time!

Let your wild side free with this month's collection that gives a modern, colourful flavour to the timeless fun and style that comes with anything in animal print! It was so much fun to bring this issue together for your lovely readers, injecting colour and fun into easily recognisable patterns. In particular you should turn to the fabulous blankets from Keysha Allen and Crochet Hooks & Magic for a design that will bring a smile to your face.

If you want to dress yourself in the prints, we have a fabulous beanie from Tiam Safari as well as an amazing scarf and mitts set from Jane Howarth! I just love colourful accessories, don't you?

If animal print isn't your cup of tea, don't worry! We have a fabulous 90s inspired blanket, I'm not biased at all when I say this is one of my favourite decades. Rosina Plane has done it again with her Roaring Twenties Wrap which happens to celebrate Pantone's Colour(s) of the Year, if you want to make grey and yellow cool, look no further!

With this issue you get an exclusive copy of Crochet Essentials - a fabulous, inspirational magazine jam-packed with even more crochet ideas for your hook!

Stay safe,

Issue 65 is available to buy from your local supermarket and newsagent from Thursday 4th February, but you can also order your copy online, grab yours from Craftstash, or why not treat yourself to a subscription and never miss an issue again!
